1940's Black Lacquer and Lucite Cabinet by Grosfeld House

Description:
Neoclassical style two-piece cabinet/vitrine with black lacquer finish and lucite and mirror details by Grosfeld House, Circa 1940. The top part features a scrolled top cornice mimicking a classical column with a lucite top and an appliqued lucite leaf motif. The two doors are fronted with lucite bars and are flanked by two lucite columns. The interior is powder pink and has three adjustable shelves. The bottom part has two mirrored doors with large lucite pulls that mimic classical warrior silhouettes. The doors are flanked by two lucite columns. The interior is also finished in powder pink and features one movable shelf.

Condition*
Good vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Some small cracks to the base of the top cabinet, where the two pieces join.

NOTE: Since the time of photography, applique design at the top has been replaced. PHOTOGRAPHY UPDATED.
