Absentee Bid Form
Information for absentee biddersArrangements for bidding should be made as early as possible. Absentee and phone bids must be received by Showplace's Online Auctions Department no later than 5:00pm the day before the specified auction. We may not be able to properly execute bids received after that time. During a Showplace auction, bids are handled in a competitive manner. Our auctions are well attended, and you will be competing against both phone and Internet bidders. If two absentee bids are received with identical bid amounts, the first bid received will take precedence. Absentee, phone, and Internet bids all have equal chances of being successful, with no single method taking precedence over another. Successful bidders will receive an invoice within a few days of the sale, which will include a 20% buyer's premium added to the hammer price of each lot won. Payment guidelines for absentee, phone, and Internet bidders are the same. |
