Description:
An oil on canvas painting of a female nude entitled "Woman Combing her Hair" by esteemed Santa Fe, New Mexico artist Randall Davey. Davey was born in 1887 in East Orange New Jersey. He studied at the New York School of Art and exhibited at the Armory show in 1913 before moving to Santa Fe in 1919. His body of work is largely comprised of nudes, still-lifes and the subject of polo. He died in 1964 in a car accident.
