A pair of Apple motif op-art serigraphs by New York Artist Masaaki Sato; both signed and numbered. Sato was born in Japan in 1939 and moved first to Europe and then in 1970 to New York City. Much of Sato's work depicted this motif of spaced conical forms used to create a shape over a background scene, or as in this case a solid color plane. Sato's work has been displayed in numerous exhibitions since the 1970's and he continued to produce works until his death in 2004.
