This end and side accent table, produced, circa 1960s, includes triangular top in Italian travertine, on wedge form base in walnut, top detached from base. The table remains in very good condition, with minor presence of wear and scuffing to wood base.
A pair of midcentury modern end tables or nightstands, made of beautifully grained fine wood, and designed for Janus Collection by John Stuart, circa 1960’s.
These are original French or French American carved nightstands. They are done in the style of Louis XIII. Rudimentary tool marks on the interior and dovetailed drawers exemplify the cabinetmaker's skill. These nightstands have recently been restored to a beutiful french polish.

Karl Springer Lacquered Goatskin Coffee or Cocktail Table from the Midcentury
1960s Danish side table, produced, by Johannes Hansen, was designed in the minimalist Scandinavian Modern style, including floating lower shelf on gently curved stretchers, stationed between round tapered legs.
A modernistic side table, created in the manner of Karl Springer, features clear Lucite frame, with smooth, rounded corners and beveled black faux granite top.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
