Handmade wire sculpture of a ship built on a wooden base, decorated with bronze ship rope holders and bronze rope design trim
An antique Folk Art sign depicting knots and other decorative elements. The piece was most likely handmade by an employee of the Milwaukee Boom Co. which was founded in 1887 and built world class tugboats. The folk art board features numerous sailor's knots, hitches and splices along with a carved double bladed axe, 2 log pikes, 2 log holders and other carved decorations. Late 19th- early 20th Century.
