Mid-Century Modern 1960s Los Castillo Taxco nautilus champagne cooler as shell on stand, in silver plate.
This vintage Italian wine holder from the 1950s, comes in the form of a whimsical chariot, on spoke wheels with wooden support, comprised of beautifully gilded, scrolling acanthus leaves. Overall very good condition, with minuscule wear to the metal, consistent with age and use.

She passed away in 2012.
