A highly modernistic fireplace arrangement, produced circa 1980s, including a pair of andirons and a set of tools on stand, with brush, shovel and poker, in mixed metals, wrought iron and brass.
These andirons from circa 1940s designed in the Art Deco mode, come in polished chrome, accented with beveled glass, including ball motif to connecting bridge and as finials, on square bases with cast iron supports. Despite presence of chips to glass and wear to metal finish, the andirons remain in overall good vintage condition.
