A Balinese Langse tapestry encased in Lucite. A traditional Indonesian cloth painting of folktales originally used as wall coverings or curtains. The words [SAMUT SITA} handwritten on the lower back; believed to be a name. Despite some wear to the Lucite the piece is in very good condition. Noted measurements are of the framed art cloth. The cloth alone is 35.5" W x 33" H.
A decorative incised brown seed pot by Hopi pottery artist Carla Claw Nampeyo (b. 1961). Markings include [CR Claw Nampeyo] carved to base. Very good condition, wear consistent with age and use.
