American Postmodern abstract sculpture created by Terrence Karpowicz (American, b. 1948). The Minimalist piece is made with carved and joinery-assembled wood, atop a stone base, mounted on tubular metal column. Signed and dated by the artist on the lower part of the wood cube base "Karpowicz '93".
Karpowicz has exhibited throughout the United States, Mexico, Europe and Russia. He has received several public sculpture commissions from the State of Illinois and his work is featured in collections of the City of Chicago, Oklahoma City and others.
In great vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the metal.
