Produced circa 1960s an Italian lifesize sculpture of a pug in glazed terracotta, painted with intricate mottled details.
This vintage Italian wine holder from the 1950s, comes in the form of a whimsical chariot, on spoke wheels with wooden support, comprised of beautifully gilded, scrolling acanthus leaves. Overall very good condition, with minuscule wear to the metal, consistent with age and use.

The large abstracted sculpture of head of a bearded man, created by Vienna-born artist Egon Weiner (1906-1987), in patinated bronze, a representation of an expressive exaggerated face, with eyes closed, and head gently bowed. Markings include the artist's signature [E. WEINER]. In overall very good condition, wear and patina consistent with age.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
