History of designer: Angelo Lelli is thought to have started his designing life in his basement. His work is said to be inspired by famous Italian designers like Arteluce and Gino Sarfatti. He had a penchant for lamps and lighting, and in 1946 his first three designs were featured in a leading Italian magazine.
His fame spread and in 1947 he formed his own company – Arredoulce in Manza, Italty. He favored minimalist designs and used the modern technologies available at the time to create some of the most startling but understated floor lamps, table lamps, chandeliers and sconces.
He worked with other notable designers to create a range of lighting designs, usually with movable or articulated shades and arms. The Arredoulce range of lighting continues to be highly sought after today.
At Showplace we love minimalist Italian designs and are excited to offer you an exquisite selection of articulated lighting designs by Arredoulce.
