History of designer: Branco & Preto is a furniture company that was established in 1952 in Sao Paulo. The architects behind the amazing furniture designs we enjoy included Che Y Hwa, Carlos Millan, Roberta Aflalo, Plinio Groce, Jacob Ruchti and Miguel Forte. These designers came up with furniture suitable for the architectural style that they were introduced to at Mackenzie School of Engineering in the 1940’s.
It did not take long for Roberto Aflaloto come up with the idea of opening up a store that sold pieces of modern design furniture. Branco & Preto have collectively produced some of the most significant pieces of Brazilian furniture that are known and loved to this day.
