History: Carl Gustaf Wilhelm Fagerlund is a Swedish designer. His career begin as a drawing teacher. He started the job right after graduating from Stockholm's University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1943. After a short stint as a teacher, Carl Fagerlund proceeded to work as a lighting designer at a Swedish company. That company manufactured electrical light and generators.
In 1946, Fagerlund was hired as a lighting designer at Orrefors Glassworks. He went on to design gorgeous crystal lights in a myriad of sizes and shapes. The use of champagne colored and thick yellow colored crystal glass dazzled the eyes of viewers.
