Sunken glass prisms are dispersed throughout the gold toned metal of these sconces.
A pair of custom-made sconces, each with gilt Murano glass leaves and single socket, mounted to a round back plate. Wiring and sockets to US standard, each requires a single candelabra base bulb. Very good condition, with original vintage glass; rewired with new metal work.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
