A French brass 4 arm chandelier, attributed to Pierre Guariche c. 1950’s, with red lacquered Diabolo shades in the original red finish.
A Brutalist style brass chandelier, with eight scroll arms, each with decorative bobeche and socket cover, surrounding the pineapple form body, composed of torch cut and soldered patinated metal sheets, shaped into curled leaves, giving this light fixture a highly organic appearance, circa 1960s-1970s. Wiring and sockets to US standard, requires nine candelabra base bulbs. Condition very good, consistent with age and prior use.
