This modern design 1970's wood chair takes inspiration from arts and crafts artistry, consisting of dowels to the seat and footrest, inset within a richly toned curved frame.

A seat and footstool by Baker Furniture, with cushioned seat in orange fabric, on black painted Regency style x-base, composed of balusters, carved with details of anthemion and medallions, separated by turned and carved spreaders with palmettes. Markings include [Baker Furniture] plaque to underside of seat along frame. The stool remains in very good condition, wear to original upholstery and finish consistent with age and use.
