Each candelabrum is topped with allegorical heads of day and night and decorated with classical elements such as foliate scrolls, masks with feathered crowns, anthemion and stylized foliage, above column, encircled with neoclassical motifs, swags, wreath and torches, on stepped base.
Produced circa 1920s Venetian handblown glass candlestick, produced circa 1920s by Salviati, light green in tone, with bulb capital and bobeche, over baluster form stem and swan motif on round foot, infused with flecks of gold leaf.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
