A highly modernistic armchair, produced circa 1980s by Karl Springer Ltd., with cushioned seat upholstered in scallop patterned fabric, against a curvaceous frame in polished steel, with brass detail to the back-splat. Very good condition, consistent with age and use; no visible signs of wear.

A vintage pair of armchairs on casters with clear Lucite frames. They have been recently reupholstered in beige and cream polka-dot linen. They are in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear; some scratching.
A vintage Danish Modern "Clam"lounge chair by Philip Arctander (the design was until recently widely attributed to Martin Olsen). Originally designed in 1941, the piece has club feet, looped armrests and has been newly reupholstered in button-tufted sheepskin.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
