A modernistic side table, created in the manner of Karl Springer, features clear Lucite frame, with smooth, rounded corners and beveled black faux granite top.
1960s Danish side table, produced, by Johannes Hansen, was designed in the minimalist Scandinavian Modern style, including floating lower shelf on gently curved stretchers, stationed between round tapered legs.
Side or end table by Brazilian designer Giuseppe Scapinelli in marble on a highly sculptural jacaranda base with magazine rack.
Each is entirely crafted of rich jacaranda with round floating tops on tripod bases.

These are original French or French American carved nightstands. They are done in the style of Louis XIII. Rudimentary tool marks on the interior and dovetailed drawers exemplify the cabinetmaker's skill. These nightstands have recently been restored to a beutiful french polish.
