A 1940’s James Mont designed asian-inspired, oversized tufted lounge chair.
A highly modernistic armchair, produced circa 1980s by Karl Springer Ltd., with cushioned seat upholstered in scallop patterned fabric, against a curvaceous frame in polished steel, with brass detail to the back-splat. Very good condition, consistent with age and use; no visible signs of wear.
Mid-century modern executive armchair attributed to designers Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen.
With red curvaceous backs, jacaranda arms and tapered legs.

A pair of vintage lounge chairs by Patrician. They have chrome frames and have been reupholstered in cut velvet with tufted cushions.
A substantial pair of game and armchairs, produced circa 1940s by the Stow-Davis Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, following the style of designer Osvaldo Borsani, with tufted back, arm rests and seat upholstered in white leather, against an ebonized walnut frame, on gently curved Klismos legs. The chairs remain in excellent vintage condition, minor wear to legs consistent with age and use; newly refinished and reupholstered.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
