A pair of vintage, circa 1950s side and end tables, with travertine tops, inlaid with brass detailing, inset against a wood frame on gently curved legs; each table has a single exterior drawer, with brass knob handle. Very good vintage condition, with age appropriate wear, including some surface scratches.

A mid-century torch-cut steel sculpture in brutalist manner.
1948-49 early Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell variegated multi-strand necklace in mogul glass with steel cut spacers and handmade rose montees. Ruby, emerald and sapphire European glass. Floral motif on front of clasp and serpent on back. Excellent vintage condition from estate of ex-figure skating champion.
Early Haskell pieces are unsigned. This piece has been authenticated by ex-Haskell designer Laurence Vrba.
A decorative conch shell in clear, handblown Murano glass by L. Zauetts. Markings include the artist’s signature to the bottom of the piece. Very good condition, with some minor scratches to the bottom, consistent with age and use.

Barbara Quackenbush split time between Harrisonburg, Virginia and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued her artistic training at George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and exhibited locally an nationally throughout her career. She passed away in 2012.
