This modern ceramic sculpture of a grinning fat cat derives much inspiration from artist Fernando Botero (b. 1932), best known for portraying heavy-set figures and animals in his works of art. The sculpture's clean lines and minimal details marries well with the smooth matte glazed surface. Markings include signature and impressed stamp (albeit indiscernible) to the lower back of the cat. Despite minor presence of wear, including chips and scuffs to the surface, this piece remains in good overall condition.
